It seems that privacy becomes more and more important nowadays, as well as more limpid. You may say that it is contrary, but it is just the case. The phenomenent of the mess media's 'hobbies' obviously convinces this truth. You can always get the private information of the famous people.
For the media, it's the market determines its action on the famous people. As they have already found out that the news of the celebrities can surely increase their sailing and profit. The audiences may not attempt to take a scientific magazine or watch the Discovery Channel, but they are quite likely to pay attention on the love story of an international star. As a result, for the purpose of the earning, it becomes the media's duty to reveal those private affairs even though some of the reporters or journalists do not like it.
Moreover, such is human nature that people are always seeking the others' secrets so as to content their own curiosity. As a fan of Madona, he or she are probably not only satisfied with her song, but also with her children and husband. And in other cases, you might never pay attention on Bill Clinton not untill the scandal was released. So, this is human nature. And we even never think about the consequence or effect of it. As one of the result, the media see and seek the opportunities to raise money as well as saling rate.
We also have to think about the celebrities themselves. You may argue that it is the celebreites that are the victims of this kind of phenomenon. Well, but it is not the whole truth. it is true that some of the famous people do get hurt from the fabricated stories or the uncover of privacy, but there are still a great number of guy who just want to get more attention and commend. For example, the political figures usually give of their own affairs such as their education experience or children's grow-up before the election for the purpose of fame.
Totally speaking, I agree with the statement that media pays much attention to the personal lives of famous people.
