一篇作文（很惭愧），恳请大家修正
我脸皮很厚，底子很薄，这是我第一次出来丢人，敬请大家批判。
（Do you agree or disagree that television has destroyed communication friends and family?）
In many families, people always being watch TV in their leisure time for there are many attractive programs on the television. Some one recognizes that TV destroyed the communication among friend and family because it wastes too much time to talk with each other; but others hold a different opinion because of the fine topic and new way for life provided by television. In my view, there may be one or two disadvantages for the friends family members to communicate by watching TV, however, I believe that there are far more advantages.
First of all, watching television with family members or friends can make some interesting thing to talk with each other. A family sit together to watch an enjoyable program on TV, after that, they have a same topic of the TV program to talk about. For instance, if they watch the figure skating competition, the skating technical and dance of Michelle Kwan may be a chatting topic of them. Also In the same time, parents can teach there children to be dedicating, brave and passionate by watching the sport program on TV because many idols of children like Michelle Kwan, Tara often appear. So the communication of a family can be improved.
Another advantage of television is that it provides a lot new ways of life. In today’s TV set, there is a plenty of programs what are telling people how to lead a better life such as how to relax oneself, how to make delicious Chinese food. For example, a Chinese cooker on TV tells people the way to make “pop chicken”, then the housewife, also a child’s mother followed to make a same dish, and when the family take dinner, they might be very happy to taste such good food. In that case, they must thank the television what please them. It is another reason that TV improves the communication of family members.
Maybe there are a couple of disadvantage of television include both a lack of time to play with child and possibility of leading a dispute in family. For instance, a wife and a husband are watching TV for a long everyday when their only child play himself lonely however the child want to talk with his parents. Another drawback of television involves that it can make the contrast opinion from persons in family. For example, the wife like the star Tom but her husband not, in that time, discussion may be caused.
Although I agree that there may be several disadvantages of television what have bad influence for the communication of family members or friends, I feel that the advantages are more obvious. By watching TV, family members can get same topic to chat, may obtain the examples what can be used to teach their children. In addition, many television programs always tell families how to lead a happy life. In my view, watching television is useful and helpful but not a way to destroy the communication among friends and family.
