According to a recent statistic on the internet, there are about 68 students prefer to ask advices from peers. Due to this fact, some people hold the opinion that nowadays it is hard for parents to control their children, considering there are many factors influence the children. However, others insist on that parents can control their children more easily than before since their experience is vital for children. As far as I am concerned, I completely agree with the former idea.
With the development of technology, people can get a large quantity of information via diverse approaches, including televisions, internet, radio etc. And all those information are full of different points of view, children can easily get such opinions. And as we all know, there are all kinds of media almost everywhere, in other words, children are receiving the points of view all the time. However, it is hard to say that all of the opinions are right or suitable for children, for example, young people may be too unsophisticated to understand some issues clearly, thus they may have some incorrect opinions. As can be seen from the aforementioned statistic, children may tend to agree with the young people's thoughts, nevertheless, it is wrong. If children have such improper opinions it definitely becomes more difficult for parents to control them.
Furthermore, as can be seen from a recent study, about 65 percent parents do not want to interfere their children's life too much for the reason that they understand clearly their value are improper for nowadays' society. If parents decide what job should their children choose, where should they live, it will be harmful for the future of children. Thus, parents more or less give more freedom to children. On the other hand, children have far less chances to communicate with family. One of the reasons is that they are very busy with working, they have to study very hard to get a notable grade in order to find a dissent job in the future. It also means they may spend more time with their teachers and classmates. Therefore, when parents give children more freedom and in the meantime, children have fewer chances to communicate with family if follows that parents find it hard to control their children.
From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that the statement of the topic is totally right, since children have more freedom and opportunities to obtain diverse information and cultivate their own points of view.
