Considering both of two methods have their own advantages and played a vital role in society, one should compare the merits of each method to decide which is better.

The advantages of making products by hand can be varied. As it is almost impossible to create an exact duplicate of an object if you make it by hand, handcrafted products have a wide range of diversity and each product is unique. More over, craftsmen even do not need to follow a sample product while working; consequently, they could be creative enough to make product of different styles to satisfy customers' diverse preference.

Also, there are many advantages of making products with the aid of machines. First of all, no production method is more efficient and more effective than machine-made method, which can constantly work 24 hours a day, producing a large amount of products, but also provides high-quality products. Furthermore, costs of hiring employees decreased dramatically due to the automation and convenience of machine-made method.

Overall, there are advantages of using both machine-made products and hand-made ones. if people want to buy high-quality but also unique products and can afford so, handcrafted products if their best choice; if a company is willing to improve its productivity and reduce the expenditure of employment and become more competitive and strong, the perfect option would be mass production, using machine. Therefore, as to which method is better, the answer rests on circumstances.

缺点: 论证不够充分. 缺少例子和细节, 因此显得文章不是那么的有说服力, 以第二段为例, LZ多次提到 each product, sample product make product of different styles....可是却没有给出一个具体的product来证明手工制品的有点, 所以给人感觉论述的过于空, 细节太少, 从字数, 来看也能说明问题. 这篇文章只有270字, 实在是少了些, 很难论述的充分, 而论述不充分文章的分数讲很难上4分, 可以参看这个贴子关于分数的评定http://bbs.xiaoma.com/thread-10504-1-1.html, 所以我的建议, 第二,三段个加入一个例子, 让文章丰满起来

At first, I did not want to buy it due to its high price, but I changed my mind instantly when the salesperson told me that it was the only one of this shape existed in the world because a craftsperson, even an adroit one, could not fabricate the same artifacts; more or less, they would have some minor differences. More over, craftsmen even do not need to follow a sample product while working; consequently, they could be creative enough to make product of different styles to satisfy customers' diverse preference.

Advertisement slogan "NO brother, No basketball" can tell us the importance of cooperation. It is quite true that a basketball team would inevitably fail to defeat other teams without teamwork. I think, the ability to cooperate well is indispensable in a modern world where tasks are more complex and should be completed efficiently and effectively, vehement contests are universal among people, and people need equip themselves with a host of knowledge.

Cooperation is the key to deal with some difficult matters with high efficiency. It is not surprisingly that a intelligent and experienced person is capable of finish a quota, whether it can be done as well as a team did remains to be seen, but as to the efficiency, there is no doubt that the team would be given priority. Furthermore, a group tends to solve a complicated problem more easily. As the cars become more advanced, it is impossible that an individual can assemble all the accessories. The exact position of each accessory is too hard a task for one person to remember and only the team work can make a perfect car.

Equally important reason for people should have the capability to cooperate is that the one's success  is more likely result from cooperation. Every one wants to succeed, but most failed. One's lacking cooperation spirit and collaborate capacity, to some extent, is a cardinal reason. Why every leader always accentuates the importance of teamwork for each person? Bill Gates dropped out from Harvard College but also become a successful and wealthy man. What contributes this phenomenon is not only his excellent IQ, but also, more important, his cooperation with his colleagues.

Last but not least, during the process of cooperation, one can learn more skills and knowledge from others. In the school for instance, I always cooperate with my friends to finish an assignment which needs sever people to involve. During the process of cooperation, I learned amounts knowledge from my friends, such as "What is the black hole?”, a part of European history and some about geology and anthropology, which largely broaden my limited knowledge.

In conclusion, allowing for  some reasons above, people should develop the ability to cooperate with others.

第三篇：Do you agree with the following statement? It is more important for a teacher to help students gain self-confidence than to teach them specific konwledge?

It is commonly held that teacher should teach students knowledge as much as possible because the basic duty for a teacher is to do so. However, as the development of the society, the requirement to a qualified graduate student who not only should master certain knowledge and skills but also own excellent psychological make-up, say, confidence, is higher. I think, definitely, a teacher should help students gain self-confidence also for some reasons blow.

First, nothing can attain without confidence, it can also say that confidence is to one person what the foundation is to a skyscraper. According to the survey, made by CHINA DAILY, bout "how important confidence is to one person?" .The outcome conveys that a majority of people who did the survey regard confidence as one of the most vital characters for them. During interview, making a speech, doing business with clients, even talking with people, we need confidence unquestionably. Furthermore, it is relatively easy for a person obtain obscure knowledge due to confidence which helps he/she does not have excessive pressure while learning. Consequently, a teacher should recognize the importance of confidence to students.

Second, without confidence, knowledge is useless for student. It was not until knowledge is useful that students use it into practice after learned. But how can timid students use the knowledge? Once requested to speak out, they can think about nothing but to crouch. Even though students have obtained a great deal of knowledge from their teachers, they can hardly benefit from it when they lack of confidence to express out or use knowledge.

However, a student also should not underrate the importance of the knowledge learning. For example, when we communicate with others, if we do not know some basic knowledge such as China is a country with more than two thousand years, the location of America, or we are living in the 21st century, there is no possibility to proceed the conversations. Needless to mention those knowledge that we need spend much time to acquire, say, mathematics, geology, sociology, and history etc.

It is better for students both are erudite and are confidence in result of what society need is a versatile and capable person. As far as I am concerned, however, the advantages of viewing movies and televisions largely overweigh its disadvantages.

The most vital character of TV is that it deliver the most updated and authority news for us; the news, which are reported thoroughly and comprehensively, play a significant part in broaden young people's horizon and deepen what they had learned. If some of them are sensitive to  political affairs and also interested in it , TV is the best tutor, teaching them vividly and providing the most veracious and reliable cases. Furthermore, not only news, but also some programs covered by TV are of great use to young people. The American TV program Discovery is known worldwide. Young people are fascinated with it due to its profuse contents, say, archaeology, anthropology, biochemistry, important science technology and inventions etc. which contained particular and detailed explanations and are beneficial to young people.

Second, movie also has some merits to young people. Take fiction movie for example. Imaginary characters and plots are full of imagination in fiction movie. In the movie, the advent of top and advanced technology that not existed today stimulates young people to be imaginative and creative, which are essential qualities for them. One the other hand, what young people need during their rest time is to fully relax themselves; and movie may be a pleasant choice.

Movies and televisions have came into people’s life for a long time, gradually, they attract numerous young people immerging themselves in the visional world. So it leads to a fierce debate on whether or not movies and televisions have more positive effects on the young people than negative effects. While some people asserts that televisions and movies have more merits as broadening young people’s prospective, in my opinion, their negative points weights more than positive points.

First of all, movies and televisions take up young people too much time to do sports. According to a recently scientific research, most young children spending four hours on movies and TV each day, left no time for exercise. This is also an important reason why that the quantity of fat children is increasing fast, which is harmful to their health. On the other hand, it’s also harmful for children to grasp the community ability since the young people lack of opportunities to play with others. Sport is a efficient way for young people to learn how to work with a team, how to exchange information with teammates, how to reconcile the conflicts between people. However, movies and television deprive these chances from young people, the only thing they learn is sitting on sofa watching TV to kill time.

Secondly, the movies and televisions covers some screens unsuitable for the young people, such as sex and violence. In recent time, we can’t neglect the fact that the teenage crimes are inclined to increase. Most of us will agree that it has close connection between teenage crimes and bad effect result from movies and TV. Violent movies such as “Kill Bill” teach children to adore violence, believing that violence is most powerful. In addition, due to knowing little about sex, sex screens stimulates the young people to do something foolish.

Finally, television break good family atmosphere. Before television went into every family, family members used to chat or play chess after dinner. During funny time, they would like to exchange recent situations , various opinions about some political affairs or some jokes. On the contrast, nowadays, most family would like to sit quietly to watch TV, nothing to exchange at all.

In conclusion, considering the lack of sports, violent influence, and absence of family communications, the movies and televisions do more bad effect than good effect for the young people.
