In recent time, we can’t neglect the fact that the teenage crimes are inclined to increase. Most of us will agree that it has close connection between teenage crimes and bad effect result from movies and TV. Violent movies such as “Kill Bill” teach children to adore violence, believing that violence is most powerful. In the young people’s observation, fist is the most efficient way to solve problem instead of communication. Finally, television break （加s）good family atmosphere. Before television went into every family, family members used to chat or play chess after dinner. An indissoluble and valuable jewelry and a transient and pleasure vacation; as to which is more attractive, the answers varied among different people due to their different backgrounds. In my part, I prefer to choose the later; and the most obvious reasons are to expend our horizon, to relax ourselves, and to make friends.

Traveling is a good chance to accumulate knowledge and experience. At school, what we learned are those apathetic and lackluster characters  that made us sometimes feel tedious and monotonous while studying. This situation would never happen when we face charming and vivid sceneries in a vacation; during which we get familiar with the local costume and culture, we may view the historic relics or modern architecture, and we could experience the fabulous sights. It is the vacation that provides us a precious opportunity to reach the knowledge and experience beyond the text books.

Equally important reason is that traveling is an ideal method for relaxation. Nowadays, some people always complain about the pressure they faced. As this negative mood accrued, people are inclined to have somewhat mental illness, or more seriously, becoming a pessimist. So, for the most part, taking a vacation can alleviate pressure of work or study. Also, relax atmosphere may bring us positive and optimistic attitude, which support us to work energetically later.

Matching two reasons above is to make friends. It is a cliché that friends are large parts of our life, but no one would deny it and it exactly tells the truth. So we would definitely not reject to enjoy a vacation and enjoy making friends. Through a short term trip, you may obtain a permanent friendship and a larger circle of friends, a treasure would benefit to your whole life.

Also, a valuable jewelry is worthy to have because it last a long time and is a symbol of wealth. However, regardless of those money matters, it is of no significant. Hardly brings you a wide prospect, a relax circumstance, and a large mount of friends.Compared with the value of vacation, that of jewelry pales. In a word, it is better spend money on vacation than hold the money doing nothing.

The unprecedented and rapid advanced of industry has made if possible for us to imagine that the fossil energy will be exhausted before long. Managing to make this problem less urgent, scientists and experts fix their attention on tapping some renewable resources, such as solar energy, wind energy, hydro power; and those resources are both largely available and pollution free. As to whether fossil energy will soon be placed by renewable resources, I think, the answer is negative. I will use following reasons to illustrate my point of view.

Fossil energy still holds a essential place in today's energy consuming. Even though scientists are making their most efforts to explore some practical energy for cars, no pleasant outcome appears. It was said that some American experts tried to use chocolate as power to drive a car and they made it; however, the car just ran about an hour before it stopped, for there is no power station adding chocolate for it. Obviously, it would take us decades of years to launch such impractical cars. At this time, for the most part, only fossil energy could meet our need. energy On the other hand, according to announcement by OPEC, oil sill remains more than 40 years to be exploit; China Daily, the most authoritative English newspaper, says gas remains 450 years and coal remains more than 200 years. From those reliable statistics, hardly can we assume that fossil energy will fade quickly from our sights.

Besides, nowadays, the utilization of renewable resources has many limitations. It is well-known reality that there is no sun cover within the Antarctic Circle and the Arctic Circle. Without fossil energy, how can the inhabitant sustain their daily life? Furthermore, we have to face the fact that fossil energy is the only accessible energy for people in rural area. Also, the free contamination and low expense of natural gas can not be shared by people lived in mountainous region.

Admittedly, the usage of fossil energy cased severe air pollution and devastates our living environment. However, even now, people can not lose it. Also, renewable energy plays an increasing part in our lives; but it scarcely can replaced fossil energy in a short time due to its limitation and the crucial effect of fossil energy.

In a word, renewable energy can not soon replace fossil energy.

Teachers have their certain knowledge about the field they taught. Some teachers may have to update their knowledge in couple years because what they teach prone to keep abreast of the times while other teachers may not due to the relative stability of the knowledge they taught. Obviously, whether teachers are required to update their knowledge every five years rest on certain subjects they taught.

No requirement for teachers who teach subjects related to ancient times to update their knowledge within several years. Supposing I am a teacher teaching archaeology. It is a widely known fact that what should I teach to student is some significant discoveries, which made many years ago, about ancient cultures through excavation. Even though sometimes there are some new archaeology findings, it would take a long time to excavate remains beneath the ground and even more efforts to restore them for later study. So, it is unnecessary for me to concern latest knowledge, which, for the most part, do not affect my daily teaching; so do the teachers who teach ancient history, ancient literary and other subjects associated with antiquity.

On the contrast, keeping step with the times is important in teaching which closely bound up with modern society. An apt example is the study in politics. How to teach students analyze political affairs exactly and felicitously? For teachers, citing an event happened years ago is a good choice; however, using the current political affairs, a method that can provides the students the most direct experience. Also, as a political teacher, updating their knowledge and focusing on the changing political environment are the basic requirements for them. This case is no isolated, science teachers, economics teachers also have to meet the requirement.

Allowing for the reasons I illustrated above, we should not demand all the teachers to refresh their knowledge every five years, the subject they taught result in whether the requirement is suitable for them.

I do agree the statement that people will have more leisure time within 20 years. Among various factors that I insist on this thesis are those most obvious reasons: the speedy progress of information technology, the varieties and high efficiency of means of transportation, the increasing possibility of longevity.

First, significant revolution of information technology brings about the changes in computer and Internet, making it fast. No one would deny that computer and Internet have influenced us greatly: distant conference, distant documentation transfer, worldwide information-collection etc; which are impossible few years ago. Those technologies, added the advent of Dual-Core of computer, increasing velocity of download from the Internet which are improved later, would absolutely save our time.

On the other hand, transportation, closely related with human beings, results in our more efficient life and work. In China, taking bus has already reduced the time when going out; further, the immergence of the subway provides us more faster and convenient vehicle. Even not to mention how airplane a time saving means of transportation when we go on business.
Therefore, as our working more efficiently in aid of computers and Internet, spending less time on the public transport, obviously, we have more time available.

Equally important reason for people will have more free time is that their life-spans are longer. Improvements in public health, say, refined and flourishing food supply; advances in medical practice, which make disease more easily be cured; peace and harmony among people, building less complex relationships, people are living longer; thus people would also have more leisure time after they retired.

Although, as the development of society, people facing more pressure and encounter more complex tasks, those effect are not that salient, compared with that of technology, transportation, and longevity, advantages of which largely overweigh the disadvantages of problems people facing.

Through the illustration above, it is not difficult to reach the agreement that people will have more leisure time since then.
