Movies are prevailing through out the world. What make movies so popular? Because, from the movies, we can find the mystic miniature of the world; by watching movies,we can also find the role model in our life; thanks to movies, we also can find the excitement that we can never experience in our real lives.
We love movies, first, because they can mirror the real world. We can see many different aspects of the world we can not see in our lives. Movies use experiences of others lives to tell us how to handle various problems we in our lives. Take one of my favorite movie--"the pursuit of happiness"--for example, the movies use the story about how a black father establish his career to tell us that no matter who we are we can determine our destiny. From the movie I know that: indeed, we do not choose to be born. We do not choose our parents. We do not choose our historical epoch of our birth, or the immediate circumstance of our upbringing. But within all this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we should live: courageously or in cowardice, honorable or dishonorable, with purpose or in drift. No matter how indifferent the universe may be to our choice or decision. Forming our destiny is what ambition is about.
We enjoy movies, second, because they set a role model for us, they help us find out what kind of person we what to be. Movies are our textbook, telling us how the role models look like, how they talk, and what they do. By watching movies, we can figure out the person on our own. For instance, "Forrest Gump" set a role model for me. It make me decide to be an optimist who as innocent as Gump. Owing to the story teach me that optimism can drive our attention away from negativism and channel into positive, constructive thinking. When you are an optimist, you're more concern with problem-solving than with useless carping about issue. We like movies, finally, because we can experience the excitement that we can never taste in the real life. Movies always bring a vivid, bran-new world in front of our eyes. Most of our can not have such exciting lives as the characters do in the movies. Then, we will enjoy watching them. Watching how they do and sharing their feeling make us feel like traveling to another world. It is great!
Movies make our life more colorful and interesting. Movies can manifest differnt lives; movies can also convey great ideas; movies also can provide exciting experiences to audiences. And it is why movies can exert great attraction on people all over the world.
