As the popular saying goes:“21st century is a century of information.”. The modern society develops and changes at a tremendous speed. As the future of the society, it is the responsibility of we teenagers to have the ability to plan and organize.
To begin with, this ability is necessary in economic field. To manage the market economy and prevent its disadvantages, the government takes the charge of organizing the economic construction and regulating the market order. In the 1920s, a drastic crisis takes place in the United States, the main cause of which is that the government didn’t make efficient policies to regulate the economy. From the example given above, we can realize the importance of planning and organizing things.
Besides, in political field, the ability to plan and organize seems more important. According to Mao, the former Chinese leader, “without any rules and plans, the whole nation will be in the dark.” We can imagine such a tragic situation: if the leader of a party lacks the ability to plan and organize, the whole organization will lost its spirit and power; if the leader of a parliament lacks the ability to plan and organize, no laws will be passed; if the leader of a republic lacks the ability to organize and plan, the democracy of the state will be damaged and the people will be indeed “in the dark”.
Also, in the campus, we can easily find the importance of planning and organizing. Most teachers may have the following experience: students with the ability to plan and organize things often get higher grades than those without the ability. The main difference between the two groups is obvious. The students who obtain higher grades often make a clear timetable on what they should do every day, while others are blind to this habit.
For my part, I often appreciate the habit to organize and plan thing well. When I am preparing for TOEFL test, I am used to get up and finish the exercises regularly. Thanks to this habit, I can always finish my tasks on time.
The ability to plan and organize things well is just like a key to the next generation. In an era filled with information and technology, this ability is extremely important.
