There are three important kinds of tropism. They are phototropism, geotropism,and hydrotropism.

The outside stimulus in phototropism is light.
5 Q+ l! z+ x& t. _& |: [When a plant is affected by phototropism, it grows in the (a right,估计和后面的听混了）direction of light source, such as the sun.
2 w. T+ m, F3 e1 k3 YThe second kind of tropism is geotropism.

In a plant affected by geotropism, the affected(effect) part of the plant grows directly(写反了两个词。。）downward, because of the pull(poul..我知道是这个词的，因为以前泛听时候没听出来，可是居然还写错了。。该打～）of gravity.
