Why do you think some people are attracted to dangerous sports or other dangerous activities? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
“Everybody loves adventure!” are words written on the advertisement for an adventure park. For most people, the words are right. Nowadays, more and more people become engaged in dangerous sports. The reason for this may be the thrill, the happiness and the feeling of achieve, which can be found in dangerous activities.
To start with, daredevils can find excitement by joining adventures. Lu Yuan, one of the most famous philosopher and educator in ancient China once commented “What we are looking for in whole life is thrill”. In fact, according to researchers, 84% of people who attend bungee-jumping said they just feel like to be excited. These thrills and funs can color the dull life of many worker and students. In that way, they will have more passion and energy to do their jobs after the activity.
Meanwhile, some professors do think thrill can relieve the depression and stress. Therefore, participating in exciting activities can make people less depressed and feel happier. As a matter of fact, we can always see the smiles from people after they finish their games in adventure theme park. And also, the happier and less stressful a man is, the healthier he will be. So in some ways, the dangerous games make people keep healthy.
There is another factor contribute to the love for dangerous sports-the feeling of achievement. After the daredevils experience the games, they are being considered to be tough and strong. They also feel this, to conquer a dangerous activity, is a kind of success and a sign of braveness. Lily is a girl who loves dangerous sports extremely. Every time after climbing a rock mountain, Lily felt she step up and she always thinks one day, she can conquer the nature in this way. She is satisfied by the success of the dangerous sports.
In conclusion, the aim for many people to attend dangerous activities is to look for excite, success and feel relax. When laying dangerous games, they forget the danger and enjoy themselves.
