In the modern world, the popular topics among the young more generally like to ask how to get a good pay. Some people like to work hard to increase the payment in only one company forever, but others like to change the station frequently. In my opinion, I prefer to choose the second one.
There is no denying the fact that to change the station frequently can force us to search the information in my domain and find out where is the best for us. During the process of looking for jobs, we can open my mind and receive the newest information about our jobs. What do we do when we were confused with our homework? In my part, I would not only look for the answer in the text book, but also search the internet to compare and contrast with others, because just one opinion is not adequate. Same as jobs, only work for one company is too narrow for you to follow the present and get update of knowledge, so it’s very necessary to change the job until you are satisfactory.
The general manager of Baidu is another good instance to testify the fact that changing the station is an easy way to succeed. He graduated from Beijing University, and got the master degree in the State University of New York. After that, he worked for a lot of famous companies in IT domain, such as INFOSEEK. Because he worked for a lot of companies, he absorbed plenty technology from them about how to run a website base on helping people for searching Internet easily. As a result, he succeeded obviously in IT. From this example, I learned that whatever the company you change, you have to choose a better one to enhance yourself.
However, few examples seem to prove that to stay in one station can succeed, too. Bill Gates, once the richest man in the world, is the best example of this. He discontinued his studies for college and ran a software company, called Microsoft, with his classmates. Fortunately, at that time, computer was a new technology for people so that he didn’t have a lot of rivals. Because he worked hard, he achieved finally. But this can not say that staying in one company is beneficial. Bill Gates was born in a certain stage, which is not as same as the stormy present. He stayed in one company because he ran a pretty new thing which nobody else did better than him, so he had no choice. But look at the modern times, a lot of feasible opportunities are waving to us, and plenty great companies need new employees. You can easily exchange your job to gain the newer and better information, which you can’t obtain if you just stay in only one company.
According to the examples above, we can get a general conclusion that to change different work places is an easier way to get a good pay than to stay in a certain place forever. And that’s almost impossible to stay in a certain company forever.
