29. Some people believe that the Earth is being harmed (damaged) by human activity. Others feel that human activity makes the Earth a better place to live. What is your opinion? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
With the development of the modernization these years, the highly proportion of people come to care about the problems that related to the insistence development like the resources and energy. In fact, the ecologists show us the of the influence of human's activity one of the most fierce topics that do not even have a consequence.
Some people believe that it is human beings that do harm to the Mother Earth. They owe the Green House Effect and other environment disasters to the rapid industrial improvement these two centuries. Nevertheless some other people thought the people's activity make the earth a better planet to live.
After stating that everyone would have different opinions, for me, the human beings are the guards of the earth rather than the destructor.
Human beings' activities make it easy for the survival of other animals and plants. The activities can produce more species and make evolution of insisted ones more rapidly. People raise wild animal for agriculture or just for eating. With people taking care of them, these tame animals become more suitable for the changing environment. Also people use technology of cross planting to create more species which is more productive and healthier.
Human beings' activities nourish more land from the limitation of the earth. For instance, with the exploration of New World and Antarctic, people have found boarder land for living. As we know, the resource in the earth is limited; and creatures can not live with the inadequacies of land or minerals. The intelligence of people shows on the usage of tool, and make the world a new one.
Also, human beings' activities create something new and strange to the Earth with which people can make it a better place to live. Inventions and creations are the most useful adaption to the earth.
Although someone would argue that the Earth is turning dirtier and more crowded as time passing by, nobody can deny what people have done to the earth: a larger space, more productive, more species home to live for human beings themselves and other animals, plant and other creatures in the world.
