It’s common that everyone hopes to attend college, nevertheless, for the most part of them, the goal for attending college seems to be indeterminate. On the other hand, they take it for grant that college plays an indispensable role in people’s life, which means that they have to try hard to attend college.
In my opinion, the most important factor that cause people to attend college is the increased knowledge, which considered to conduce people to the success. For instance, when facing vital problem, one who has attended college probably be more meticulous than the opposite one, otherwise, the knowledge which gain from the college can help people to solve problem more easily and efficiently. And the knowledge take on another function of constructing people tolerance, instructing people to be patient and lenient.
Moreover, another significant reason for people to attend college is the unique experience of college life, a treasure which pave the way for success. Such experience serve as a tutor in people’s life, illuminating them to the right way and encouraging them to pursue their dream, the lesson drawn from the experience is unforgettable and meaningful to students. Though the experience may be embarassing or humilating to some of students, it teach them to avoid the same mistake forever.
Finally, the college also give students career preparation, and direct students to find out what is the most important in the work, while others who haven’t attended college probably make such mistake and get into big trouble because they have never gain any tips or instruction about the career. However, the college don’t help students for its own sake, as it instruct students in variety of ways, yet it probably useless to someone who hasn’t found his goal for attending college.
